The Tzohar rabbinical organization launched a prenuptial agreement a year and a half ago in order to prevent the phenomenon of refusal to grant divorces.
The organization states that nearly 2000 couples signed the agreements, which aroused controversy after some Religious Zionist rabbis called on couples not to sign the agreements as they do not conform with halakha. Tzohar claimed that the agreements are in full consonance with halakha.
