A police and Border Police force operating in the Mount Scopus village of Issawiya came under attack after they investigated a loud noise near the neighborhood.
Searches conducted by the force did not identify any source and no casualties were reported but a sapper was sent to the scene. Stones were subsequently thrown at the soldiers. A Border Guard was hit but did not need medical treatment.
