The Deputy Minister of the Environment, MK Yaron Mazuz(Likud), referred to the notice received by Haifa Chemicals workers regarding the closure of their factory.
Mazuz said that "I share the pain of the workers and their families. Unfortunately I warned all along about the continued failures of the company's directors regarding the issue of closing the ammonia plant. The directors elected not to implement any of the options and alternatives which were presented to them."
