An archaeological excavation of the Israel Antiquities Authority in the industrial zone adjacent to the offices of the Ramat Negev Regional Council has revealed an extensive building from the 4th century CE (beginning of the Byzantine period) that incorporated an impressive winepress.
The IAA started the excavation after some of the ancient complex was accidentally discovered during development work.
