President Rivlin will speak Thursday evening with Turkish president Tayp Erdogan regarding the tensions on Temple Mount over Israel's intention to add to security measures at the site.
Channel 2 reported that the Foreign Ministry is opposed to the telephone call taking place in light of the incitement and Turkish involvement in stirring up tensions. Rivlin however is insistent on speaking with Erdogan.
