A fire broke out in the Romema neighborhood in north Jerusalem, in addition to the fire which broke out earlier in the Jerusalem Forest. Firemen are working to gain control of the fire with the help of airplanes.
Due to heavy smoke, police evacuated residents of the adjacent Mattersdorf neighborhood as well as a retirement home in Sorotzkin street. The road has been closed to traffic.
