Former Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon sharply attacked his replacement in the ministry, Avigdor Liberman, who said that only now Yaalon remembered to call Netanyahu corrupt after working with him for a long time and being privy to the decision to purchase submarines for the IDF. Interviewed by IDF Radio, Yaalon called Liberman a "liar who spent years in investigations" and added that he himself had not believed that the prime minister would favor monetary gain over national interests until February 2016. He added that "even if they won't incriminate the prime minister, from a public point of view he is finished."
