The Supreme Court ordered an additional hearing on the ruling which permitted the opening of stores in Tel Aviv on Shabbat.
"Whatever the result, the Shabbat, on which there is no need to preach its importance in Judaism, deserves to be discussed and clarified with all opinions presented to the court," wrote justice Elyakim Rubinstein in his decision.
