Science and Technology Minister Ofir Akunis (Likud) on Friday referred to UNESCO's decision declaring the Cave of the Patriarchs as a "Palestinian heritage site".
"Another foolish, false and pathetic decision was made today by UNESCO. This embarrassing decision has no meaning and no lie will change the 4,000-year connection between between the Jewish people and Hevron or Jerusalem and our right to our land," he said
