The Knesset passed in its initial reading a bill proposed by MK Yulia Malinovsky(Yisrael Beitenu) which aims to protect soldiers serving as career soldiers from being fired during fertility treatments, similar to the legal protection provided to civilians.
Moreover the law aims to provide female soldiers on maternity leave with protection against being fired during their leave.
