A group linked to Al Qaeda operating in Mali published a video showing 6 Western hostages, according to the SITE research group.
According to the announcement, the hostages shown are citizens of South Africa, Australia, Romania, Switzerland, Columbia, and France.
The video was shown as a regional summit in Mali was underway. The summit included the participation of French President Emmanuel Macron.
