Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked announced Sunday that she would raise the "Beit El law" in the ministerial legislative committee despite the prime minister's opposition to the law.

The law states that a promise to build which was made during the course of the demolition of other houses, such as the promises made to Beit El residents, will be immediately dealt with and will not be subject to political considerations.

If the proposal passes it will obligate the government and the prime minister to fulfill their commitments to build in Judea and Samaria.
