The parole board of the Israel Prisons Service has told prosecutors they have to announce today if they intend to appeal the early release of former prime minister Ehud Olmert from his prison sentence for a corruption conviction stemming from his time as mayor of Jerusalem.
The board was responding to the prosecutors' request to delay the release, currently scheduled for Sunday.
