The British newspaper the Daily Telegraph reports that more than 40 convicted terror activists  who were supposed to have been expelled from Britain have succeeded in preventing their deportation based on exploiting the Human Rights Act.

The law, which was proposed by Prime Minister Theresa May when she served as Minister of Interior, promoted a program named " Deport  with guarantees" which allows for the deportation of terrorists if there are guarantees that they will not suffer torture in their home countries.

The terrorists claimed they would be abused in their countries of origin and could therefore not be deported.
