A terrorist who is serving 14 life sentences for planning attacks which led to the deaths of 14 Israelis in 2002 has received huge honor in the official Palestinian media, including a televised visit to his house.
Additionally, the terrorist, Nasser Awiss, receives a monthly salary from the PA. To date he has received 558,200 NIS from the PA. According to the "law of prisoners and freed prisoners" in the PA, a terrorist receives a higher salary the longer he stays in jail, so that terrorists who commit the most severe crimes receive the highest salaries.
