Russia, the United States and Jordan have signed a memorandum of understanding that would establish a safe zone in southern Syria, according to the London-based Ash-Sharq Il-Awsat newspaper.
Under the pact, there will be no presence of Hezbollah forces and other militias supported by Iran.
