Former PM Ehud Olmert is to appear today before the parole board, which will determine whether to accept his request to shorten his sentence by a third.
The meeting will take place despite the fact that a criminal investigation is now underway against Olmert on suspicions that he leaked classified information while writing his autobiographical book.
