The United States carried out airstrikes against the Al-Shabab terror organization, Sunday morning, about 185 miles southwest of Mogadishu, according to ABC.
The airstrikes were the first under authorities approved by President Donald Trump in March, which allow action "within a geographically-defined area of active hostilities in support of partner force in Somalia".
