The commander of the Magellan unit in the Israel Defense Forces has removed a soldier from combat duty following the soldier's failure to neutralize a terrorist who carried out a stabbing attack on June 1st at the entrance to the Jewish community of Mevo Dotan in Samaria. The soldier was lightly wounded in the attack and fled the scene.
