The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the threats by "one of the settlers of Bnei Berak to blow up the El-Aksa mosque" and claimed the matter was "very severe" and could "ignite the situation in the entire region."
The Palestinians claimed that Israel treats Israeli incitement very lightly while treating Palestinian incitement more stringently which they termed "discrimination."
