Indian prime minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Israel in a number of weeks but is refusing to visit Ramallah and meet with the Palestinian leadership during his visit, despite receiving invitations from them.
Modi will be the first ever Indian premier to visit Israel and he will be arriving to celebrate 25 years of diplomatic relations between the countries. During the course of Modi's tenure as prime minister, India has stood by Israel steadfastly.
