The Lod District Court accepted the Tax Authority's stance in its appeal against Gitco a subsidiary company of Microsoft, regarding its tax obligations.
The court accepted the state's claim that taxes should be paid for internal transactions between related parties. The seminal adjudication will mean that Microsoft will pay taxes of more than 100 million NIS for its Israeli activities.
