Pro-Assad forces have invaded a closed area in southern Syria and are refusing to leave the zone. In response, coalition forces headed by the US attacked the area, in which tens of armed men with tanks and artillery are entrenched.
Coalition forces say that they warned pro-government troops to turn back. Reports say 2 artillery pieces were destroyed, as well as ananti-aircraft weapon, and a tank was damaged in the attack.
