Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu received Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn in his office after Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel and the Ethiopian minister of Natural Resources signed agreements on issues of agriculture.
Netanyahu welcomed his Ethiopian counterpart to Jerusalem and said that he had warm memories of his trip which was "part of Israel's return to Africa" and praised the economic cooperation between the countries and the Ethiopian community's contribution to Israel.
