The official value of the shekel declined an average .242 percent overall, despite losses by a majority of the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel's foreign-exchange list on Monday.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.548, down .281 percent from Friday, while the Euro declined .158 percent to 3.9877 shekels, and the pound sterling was set at 4.5786 shekels, down .004 percent.
