The Health Committee of the Knesset held today a meeting about the Health Ministry's program to label products as "healthy" or "not healthy."
Health Ministry Chair Moshe Bar-Simantov said during the meeting: "We will forbid trans fat in Israel, except in foods in which it occurs naturally. Artificial sweeteners will not receive a green sticker. We don't expect people not to buy products with a red sticker, but to do so sparingly."
