Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked participated Thursday in a signing ceremony for cooperation between the Ariel University and the St. Petersburg Municipality in Russia.
The goal of the cooperative agreement is to create opportunities for Russian startups to do business in Israel and also creates opportunities for Russian investors to invest in Israeli hi-tech as well as for Israeli start-ups to enter the Russian market.
Shaked said that "the combination of Israel as a start-up nation with Russian expertise will lead to scientific and technological breakthroughs."
