Police have completed their investigation into alleged criminal offences committed by Tzfat mayor Ilan Shochat and his assistant Gili Adler.
The investigation dealt with allegations of bribery, fraud and breach of trust as well as election bribery.
The Lahav 433 police unit (National Fraud Unit) believes that there is allegedly criminal evidence against the mayor and his assistant and the case will be transferred in the coming days to the State Prosecutor for further investigation.
