The Environment Ministry, in consultation with the Health Ministry, warned of high concentrations of fine sand particles in the air in the region of Eilat and the Arava due to a sandstorm.
The ministry warned sensitive members of the populace- heart and lung patients, elderly, pregnant women and children - not to stay outdoors and warned the rest of the residents not to perform vigorous physical activity outdoors.
