Over the last few days senior American officials have been conveying messages to their Israeli counterparts that President Trump is still committed to transferring the US embassy by the end of his term, even if he signs a new waiver to delay the transfer of the embassy at the end of May.
The officials said that Israel needs to be patient but that Trump intends to fulfill his promise.
