The State Comptroller referred Tuesday to the phenomenon of ethnic discrimination which still exists in haredi schools.
The comptroller criticized the haredi department of the Education Ministry for not doing enough to combat such discrimination and recommended that the ministry determine ways to achieve proper enforcement and use administrative and even criminal sanctions against offending institutions.
