Minister Gila Gamliel has criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's position on the two-state solution and declared "Likud never supported two states for two peoples."

Referring to next week's visit by United States President Donald Trump, Gamliel said, "Before the president's visit, the entire right should unite and present the Israeli initiative to resolve the conflict. An initiative based on an economic future for us and the Palestinians in cooperation with all the moderate Arab states. An initiative that will ensure that incitement in the Palestinian education system against Israel and the Jewish people is stopped so that the younger generation will be educated to aspire to good neighborliness. This is the way forward towards ending the conflict."
