A senior IDF officer said that despite the cyber attacks on 99 countries worldwide Saturday, the IDF cybersystem was not affected by the attack.
The officer said that there are attempts to penetrate the military cybersystem but the level of security is higher than existing civilian systems abd us therefore able to fend off such attacks.
The officer stressed that "The IDF views cyber as a form of warfare and allocates huge resources and hundreds of personnel to combating cyber attacks."
