Prime Minister Netanyahu referred to the decision by the FIFA congress not to vote on the Palestinian proposal against Jewish teams from Judea and Samaria.
Netanyahu said that "we won another battle today on Israel's international status - we foiled an attempt to harm Israel's status in FIFA. This is an important achievement. We will continue to protect the state of Israel and strengthen our international status."
