At the Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba, the one-year-old baby who was forgotten in a car in the Samarian community of Avnei Hefetz was declared dead.
Initial investigation of the incident revealed that the mother of the infant had arrived in the morning at the child care center and for some unknown reason forgot her baby in the car. When she returned to the car at 2 P.M. she discovered her baby and immediately notified MDA.
