The Zionist Union criticized Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon on Wednesday evening, after he earlier accused the party of torpedoing the third apartment tax law.
"Kahlon is looking to blame others for his failure to lower housing prices and to obtain housing for young people. The third apartment tax law, which has not even come into effect, is a law that barely addresses the problem with housing prices and does not have any impact on housing prices. All the real estate experts know this, as does Kahlon himself."
"He found an opportunity to get off the tree in the Supreme Court’s ruling, and instead of returning the law to a substantive discussion in the Knesset, he chooses to blame others for his own resounding failure," the party said.
