Israeli television anchor Geula Even broke into tears Tuesday night when reporting that the Israel Broadcasting Authority was broadcasting its final news program .
Even's husband, former Education Minister Gidon Saar said that he had spoken afterwards with his wife and that this was "a human response."
Saar said that "her pain was due to her being told together with her crew about the cancellation of the program at that moment."
