17 soldiers serving on the Home Front were bitten Monday by a fox in the Tzrifin military base near Rishon Letzion.
The soldiers were evacuated to hospital to be examined for rabies infection.
The fox entered their tents while they were sleeping and began biting them. The soldiers suffered bites on their legs and heads.
