Rabbi Levi Matosov, the Rabbi of the Tunisian Jewish community in Paris is closely associated with incoming French president Immanuel Macron and was with him on the day the election results were announced.
Matosov said that Macron is sympathetic towards the French Jewish community but also stated that "we have a long journey ahead."
Matosov added that 11 million people voted Le Pen, among them many racist and anti-Semitic voters but also many others "who we can work with."
