Prime Minister Netanyahu met Tuesday with US Joint Chief of Staff General Joseph Dunford, together with Israeli Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot.
The meeting dealt with deepening security ties between the two nations and their common challenges.
Netanyahu stressed that the "strong covenant" between the two militaries was not just for wartime but also for times of peace.
He also said that he was looking forward to meeting President Trump in Israel "very soon."
