In advance of US president Donald Trump's upcoming visit, the Darkeinu organization headed by Polly Bronstein has announced that it is initiating a campaign to promote the renewal of the peace process and a peace treaty with the Palestinians.
Darkeinu’s core values include Israel’s right to be a nation state for Jews with democracy for all; the creation of the two-state solution with security for Israel; the shunning of violence and extremism; and social justice and civil solidarity for everyone.
Polly Bronstein said that "President Trump has renewed peace discussions and the hope that Israel will enter negotiations to achieve a deal. The pragmatic way, which demands responsibility from both sides and does not point an accusing finger at Israel, could be the way to succeed. We call on the prime minister and the Knesset to say yes to a peace process and to separation from the Palestinians.
