Foreign Ministry Director-General Yuval Rotem has spoken with Turkish Ambassador to Israel Kemal Okem following the harsh remarks made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan against the state.
Rotem told the ambassador that in Jerusalem they do not pay attention to Erdoğan's slurs, and will continue to maintain freedom of worship for all religions.
