Chairman Itzik Shmuli of the Knesset Pensioners' Lobby has called on Health Minister Yaakov Litzman to create a coalition crisis following the latest revelation of the abuse of elderly women in an old age home.
Shmuli asked yesterday for an urgent discussion in the Knesset plenum to discuss the crisis. Interviewed by Channel 10 Television, which aired video of abuse from a hidden camera, the Zionist Union lawmaker said Litzman should threaten a coalition crisis as he did about the opening of supermarkets in Tel Aviv on Shabbat.
