Member of Knesset Shelly Yechimovich (Zionist Union) has welcomed Emmanuel Macron's victory in the French presidential elections.
The candidate for leadership of the Histadrut Labor Federation said, "The victory of Macron is a great relief. French democracy has prevailed and anti-Semitism has been defeated, and in a world where manifestations of extremism and racism are pronounced, Macaron's election reinforces moderation and sanity and strengthens the European Union. His crushing victory is good for France, good for Europe, good for the world and good for Israel-France relations."
