Prime Minister Netanyahu said at the opening of the cabinet meeting regarding Trump's upcoming visit that "he will be received warmly as a great friend of Israel."
"The President wishes to test ways to renew the peace process with the Palestinians. I share that wish, as do the citizens of Israel. We want peace and we educate our children to peace," he said.
He added, "I heard Abbas say that the Palestinians teach their children peace also. Unfortunately, this is simply not true."
