Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman referred to the Trump-Abbas summit and stated that "in the Middle East only political treaties are possible, peace in the full meaning of the word as understood in the rest of the world is irrelevant in the Middle East."
Liberman also criticized his predecessor Moshe Yaalon, terming him a "bitter, frustrated person who cannot find his place" and said he feels only pity when he sees him.
