A Palestinian official claimed Thursday that the talks between PA chairman Mahmoud Abbad and US president Donald Trump dealt with core issues and not ancillary issues as Israel had claimed.
The official said that "we emphasized to the Americans that there is no love lost between us and Israelis and we are in a conflict and dispute with them over the occupation."
The official denied that the discussions centered on schoolbooks and incitement as Israel had claimed and stated that all the issues- Jerusalem, the settlements and the borders -were raised.
