Prime Minister Netanyahu met Thursday with Rumanian prime minister Sorin Grindeanu and discussed cooperation on issues of cyber, agriculture, commerce and economic cooperation.
Netanyahu stressed that there are 400,000 Israeli citizens of Rumanian origin, including his personal physician, and said he felt a close connection with Rumania.
Netanyahu also praised Grindeanu for his strong stance against anti-Semitism and against desecration of Jewish cemeteries and said that he would sign agreements for cooperation on a broad range of issues.
