Jerusalem was the capital of Israel long before UNESCO

Minister Ayoub Kara commented, Tuesday, on a discussion that will be held by the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization's Executive Committee on a draft resolution on the status of Jerusalem.

Kara said, "Even a thousand organizations like UNESCO will not succeed in erasing the Jewish people's connection to Jerusalem, the eternal and exclusive capital of the Jewish people for more than 3,000 years. Jerusalem was the capital of Israel long before UNESCO and will remain the capital of Israel even after UNESCO forever."
