Governor Andrew Cuomo of New York joined in Israel Independence Day celebrations, Tuesday evening. He wrote on his Twitter account, "Happy 69th Birthday, Israel. We are celebrating with you in New York."
At the governor's order, the new World Trade (Freedom) Center and the new Kosciuszko Bridge were lit in white and blue to celebrate the occasion.
